DigiWARE Release Notes 93000258D for Digi PCI Xr, PCI Xem, PCI C/X, PCI EPC/X OS/2 Device Driver DIGI_OS2.SYS V1.37.3 Beta Diskettes P/N 40001479E1P (3) Software Manual P/N 92000244E1P Release Notes P/N 93000258E1P 12 July 1999 Below are Notes regarding the DIGI_OS2.sys V 1.37.3 Beta driver Enhancements Bug Fixes digi_os2.sys ------------ 1. Fixed a problem where outstanding reads were not being flushed on the last close. 2. Added support for setting output DSR (ODSR) and DCD flow control (e.g: mode com3: 9600,ODSR=ON). Note that input DSR (IDSR) flow control is still not supported, and attempts to set it will be ignored. Known Limitations 1. The current name convention supports "COM*" or "DIGI*" device names only. There is no current support for user supplied port names. 2. Altpin (as in the XALL.SYS driver) is not supported. 3. Set modem line signals are overridden by hardware flow-control; i.e: RTS and DTR are not changeable when flow control is set on (see dmode.exe for setting RTS and DTR handshaking.) 4. Instantanous error reporting is not supported. 5. Input DSR flow control (IDSR) is not supported and setting it will be ignored. ----- DigiWARE Release Notes 93000258D for Digi PCI Xr, PCI Xem, PCI C/X, PCI EPC/X OS/2 Device Driver DIGI_OS2.SYS V1.37.2 Diskettes P/N 40001479D (3) Software Manual P/N 92000244D Release Notes P/N 93000258D 29 March 1999 Below are Notes regarding the DIGI_OS2.sys V 1.37.2 driver Enhancements Bug Fixes digi_os2.sys ------------ 1. Fixed a problem where, in shared interrupt environments, interrupts generated by the digi_os2 driver could confuse other cards. 2. Fixed a problem that caused the driver to crash on loading if more than 99 ports were allocated (e.g: /T:xx:43). digidevf.exe ------------ 1. Added support for PCI Xr-920 (2, 4 and 8 port) 2. Fixed a problem where digidevf failed to recognize Digi adapters in slots associated with PCI Bus values greater than 0. 3. Changed version to 1.4. Known Limitations 1. The current name convention supports "COM*" or "DIGI*" device names only. There is no current support for user supplied port names. 2. Altpin (as in the XALL.SYS driver) is not supported. 3.
